Projects and topics.
Projects
A project is a name, a colour (one of eight), an optional description and optional keywords. When a memo mentions the name or a keyword as a whole word, Ramble files the memo under that project. A memo can belong to several.
- Open Projects and create one.
- Add keywords for other words that should file a memo there. The form suggests topics from your memos.
- Save. The project page offers to file earlier memos that mention its keywords.
Archived projects stop matching new memos. Deleting a project removes it from your memos and clears it from items. The memos and items stay.
Topics
Topics are short tags Ramble pulls from each memo. You can add or remove them on the memo page. New topics lean on words you already use, so the vocabulary stays small.
Use a topic as a search filter to see everything about it across projects.
