Weekly review.
Ramble can bring old memos back, walk you through the week, and keep the searches you repeat. All of it runs on this device.
Looking back
On the app home page, a "Looking back" section shows memos from the same day a month ago, six months ago, and one to five years ago. It shows up to three memos for each of those days, and nothing at all when there are none. "Hide for today" puts it away until tomorrow.
Weekly review
Open it from the weekly digest, or from the command palette (CmdK on Mac, CtrlK elsewhere) with "Weekly review". It lives at /app/review and has five steps:
- Look back. Read what you said this week.
- To-dos. For each open to-do, choose Done, Keep or Drop. Drop gives you 6 seconds to undo it before the to-do is deleted.
- Questions. Go through open questions.
- Decisions. Go through what you decided.
- Reflect. Write a few lines about the week.
Your reflection is saved as a memo tagged "weekly review", so you can find every one by searching that topic. Your progress is kept as a draft in this browser, so you can leave and resume.
Saved searches
On the search page, save the current search under a name. You can keep up to 20; after that the oldest is dropped. Saved searches also appear in the command palette.
They are stored in this browser only. They are not included in backups and are not synced to other devices. Delete all data in Settings clears them.
